CT Humanities, the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, and the University of Connecticut announced a partnership to provide free, statewide access to TheirStory, enabling museums, libraries, and community groups across Connecticut to record, transcribe, and share oral histories.

UConn's Fiona Vernal noted that "oral histories are the most effective artifacts for engaging with communities and sharing authority," with the initiative aiming to build more inclusive historical collections statewide through UConn's EPOCH program.
